Status: Closed - RIO TINTO EXTENDS TENDER OFFER FOR RIVERSDALE BUY Anglo-Australian miner Rio Tinto (LON:RIO; ASX:RIO) announced again an extension of its USD3.9bn (EUR2.7bn) takeover bid for Australian peer Riversdale (ASX:RIV) by three days to 6 April to give big shareholders more time to decide on their holdings.
